PHOTOSOFT is a color photo presentation software that let you:

     - edit your photo SHOW with many IN/OUT effects;
     - overlay colorful texts onto your images;
     - enhance the color photos;
     - make self-contained floppy SHOW disk that can be run on
       low end IBM compatible personal computer that uses VGA  
       display; send to clients or friends; it runs;
     - squeeze your image data by up to 12 times; PHOTOSOFT uses
       a compression method that can be decompressed in real  
       time; about 88 color photos can be stored in a 1.4 M Byte
       floppy; 
     - accept color images in standard TIFF, Targa or PCX format.

PHOTOSOFT consists of a PhotoShow and a PhotoConvert modules. 
The basic PHOTOSOFT package contains the PhotoShow module which
allows users to perform photo presentation functions including
SHOW editing, text overlay, IN/OUT display effects and MAKE disk
function.  A color photo scanning service is provided for users
to put their color photos into the compressed image (CIM) format
used by PHOTOSOFT.  Please read the section on SCANNING SERVICE. 

PhotoConvert can be purchased as an option.  PhotoConvert
performs image file format conversion, image data compression and
color image enhancement.  PhotoConvert accepts TIFF, PCX and TGA
image formats and compress them to CIM formats.
     

PHOTOSOFT can be applied to many areas:

SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

     IBM compatibles with VGA displays;
     DOS 3.3 or above, 550 K Byte min. free memory;
     

INSTALLATION

     Make a PSOFT subdirectory in your hard disk;  
     Copy all the files to the subdirectory; 
     While in the subdirectory: 
     type RUN and Enter to run the demonstration photo show;
     type PSOFT and Enter to run PHOTOSOFT.


WARNING:  Don't modify the original PHOTOSOFT files.  PHOTOSOFT 
          will not run if they have been modified or deleted. 
          Re-install the original files in order to run
          PHOTOSOFT. 


SCANNING SERVICE:

To input your color photos into the computer, simply send the
photos to us.  We will scan in the pictures and convert them into
CIM format with 3X compression.  We will send back the original
pictures and a floppy containing the CIM photo files.  You can
organise your own Photo Show using these CIM photos in PHOTOSOFT.

Charges: US$1 per picture; minimum fee US$10 each order; add US$3
shipment per 3.5" floppy disk (20 CIM photos per disk).  To
order, send the photos (3.5" x 5") together with a check to:

Note: Due to the aspect ratio of the monitor, photos in Landscape
form will fill up the full screen while photos in Portrait form
will fill up only half of the screen.

We continue to spend significant amount of effort in developing,
maintaining and supporting PHOTOSOFT.  Your support is very
important to us. If your copy of PHOTOSOFT is an unregistered
copy and you are going to continue using PHOTOSOFT, please obtain
a licensed copy and its User's Guide by filling out the
registration form and paying the appropriate fees.
